So much for that toyota quality..

WHERE a vehicle is made has nothing to do with what country OWNS the company

ummm chrylser was foreign from 98-07. germans owned it did they not?

Toyota's might be made here in the US, but the profit's from that sale go overseas. Buy a GM or a Ford (and Mopar is only half foreign owned BTW) the profits STAY HERE. There is a HUGE difference.

tell that to the hundred of thousands of employees of foreign car companies here in america. how many dealers did chrysler recently close? i can count like four right off the top of my head in my area alone. i see those foreign car companies putting food on american families plates every day. no?

so lets kick the foreign cars out of the country. then what? i'll tell ya what happens. first we have a ton more out of work then we do now, then if the only choice we have is a mopar, gm or ford then we go back to the garbage those three gave us all through the 70's and into the early 80's which is what changed generations of families to foreign cars in the first place. the compition is what made the american three improve the way they did in the late 80's until now. you can't argue that. you really think they would have improved if they wern't losing sales because buyers went elsewhere?..

like i said earlier and in the past. buy what you have had good luck with and good experiences with. for you maybe it was a chrysler product. for me, i have bought new chrysler products in 92,93 and a almost new 07 in 09 and they have been total garbage, horrible times having to deal with the dealers, the damn things have been to the dealer for repairs more in 6 months then any toyota i have owned in its life span.. argue about that all you want. but those are my experiences and facts of my owning experiences. this last time around i figured maybe chrysler changed their act a little since 93. nope. same old bull ****. i will never buy another new chrysler product again. they lost me all by themselves. how many chances am i supposed to give them? i work hard for my money and am not spending it on something that is going to constantly give me a headache. i'll stick to my toyota's and live headache free thank you very much..

(and Mopar is only half foreign owned BTW)

so only 50% of your money goes over sees? thats ok then? come on man. thats a bad argument. i would have more respect for the argument if ya were saying buy a ford or gm because they are american owned. gotta leave chrysler out of the argument man. even at 50% foreign owned makes it too foreign doesn't it?. infact the argument should be to only buy a ford because they didn't take that bailout money. gotta look past the pentastar that means nothing these days man...
