I'm looking for a cool new look for my 74 Dart Swinger(top photo). I'm leaning towards the Dog dish look(Photo #2, of Johnny Darts sweet ride). Then there's the more flashy torque thrust look. Looking for opinions for my 74. I'm definitely going with white letter tires(BF Goodrich Radial TA)

I like both! On your car if you go with the dog dish I would paint the wheels body color.

Not a big fan of white letters out anymore but was at one time.

I think the raised white lettering looks better on the black steelies. On the other hand i think the torque thrust look better for your color of car,IMO.8)Geez,I guess that doesn't help much, sorry.

i do aftermarket wheels on back dog dish fronts i thiunk it looks sleeper but modified i got a pair of dog dishes if ur looking for any?

It's hard because I like them both. When your putting out that kind of cash, I want to get many opinions and put some thought into it.

dog dish do look really good
but torque thrust have always been one of my all time favorite wheels
I know not much help

I really like how it looks now, but it you were to use the torq thrusts, I'd opt for the ones with the black spokes..

Smart Move? Do Both. You have a jack and a 4 way, right?

Big and little Torque Thrusts with white letters for show...plain steelies/dog dishes with the blackwalls out with drag radials for street warfare and track days. The deadly sleeper look.

I have a bud with a very well done early VW Bug. He can change the look of the car completely by changing the wheel/tire combination and clever use of
non permanent accessories. It changes the look so completely it doesn't look like the same car.
He can do autocross, drag/street race, or put on steelies with big whitewalls, add a luggage rack and other vintage accessories, and then it looks like a late 50's/early 60 semi-custom. Seems the VW guys are big into not only doing their cars, but collecting the vintage accessories too.

Just some food for thought.

Yeh do both.....I will eventually be picking up some steelies for my cuda to interchange with the cragar SS grey series I currently have....change the whole look of the car in an instant.

i think the pacer supreme is a graet choice......cross between torq and crager!

Great opinions, Keep them coming please. I was considering getting both, that would give me three sets of wheel and tires. I agree, certain tire combos really changes the look.

I love torq-thrusts.....unfortunately, they're a little "played-out"......the dog-dish look seems pretty cool in my book. I'm probably gonna take off my polished Tq. thrusts at some point and put on a set of dog dishes I have in my garage.....and maybe some redline tires to boot. We'll see....I'm pretty poor right about now.

I've been digging on these wheels for a while.....although they seem to be more suited to the "gasser" look.
