Nice project. It looks like you're moving right along on it too. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing updates too.

Got the dash partially rebuilt and installed in the car, steering column installed, and started wiring.

The steering wheel needs some minor repair and paint, should work out nicely.

Next on the list are the brakes and associated plumbing / linkage and then on to the fuel system.

I wish I was you! Nice car! I LOve the 64 and 65 Valiants and Barracudas! I am doing a 65 valiant convertible. Hope to post pics soon.

It gonna be ON this summer! Polara, Duster, Valiant and Comet all roaming the streets. Too cool.

Just caught your post. Car looks awesome.
Where in Milwaukee are you? I'm in Muskego, wouldn't mind checking it out in person, I've got a resto going too, check my thread, The Darwin Project.

Thanks for the compliment.

The Barracuda looks great, love the color.

As far as location, we're actually building the car at my friend's shop near Oconomowoc.

Hi Dude (sshomer) whats your Name ?

Really Elektrick work!

Have you made the electrical system same?

I do not show whether I them should make,

I have this work really a little fear.

Greetings
Uli

We eliminated all of the original wiring and bought a 12 circuit Painless harness (about $300 from Summit Racing). They cost a little bit but are well worth the money. It is not an extremely complicated job but it would definitely help to work with someone who knows what they are doing.

Good luck -

Scott

Great work. Really coming together nicely.

Since I last posted we've finished all of the interior wiring and all of the under-hood electricals that can be done without the engine in the car.

The dash trim was cleaned up or refinished as needed and most of the dash reassembled along with the accessory gages.

All of the brake and fuel lines have been run.

We opened up the transmission and it appears that the synchros were replaced and the fluid was really clean...should be good to go.

We're getting the engine parts back from the speed shop (bottom end this week, top-end next week) and are beginning to assemble. Needless to say this is getting fun...

It was a good week at the S & M Shop...

We got the rest of the engine parts back from the speed shop and had the rotating assembly all built by mid-week. By the weekend we were working on the top end, the deck height and cam orientation were double checked, no surprises there. The rest of the assembly went really smoothly and Saturday afternoon I've got a Commando...
