WOW...you two should be dealing over the phone or in person, not airing you laundry on the net.
And unless Mark's other neighbor moves out of their house...he wont have a place to store it....but of course I can put it in my garage  PS...for Mark

Looks like Mike and i will be trading unless someone steps up with some cash. The deal will go down the weekend after the 14th. I will drive to Crossville with Duster in tow and if i like what i see then it will be a done deal. It's **** or get off the pot. This is the longest for sale post on the web.

409, why aren't i more upbeat? Really needed to sell it so as to help fund my spec house but all will be well with the trade. Spoke with Mike yesterday evening and originally we were to meet halfway for the exchange but instead i will be loading up the black car and traveling to his location for final inspection at no cost to Mike. If all is good then the trade will go down. I do know there will be some more work on the dart so as to get it to my liking. No fault of Mikes. You could label this entire thread as "The Anatomy of a Trade". It's been long and interesting to say the least. The definate timing will all depend on the weather. My car hasn't seen nothing but freak unplanned rain so i wouldn't want to subject the car to anything serious. I guess we could say i still care. The 67 will get the same treatment and hopefully i'll have it ready for show season. I also plan on dropping back by Leanna and Billy's and make a real trip out of it.

Good morning Bill  Yep :-D This is a cool thread to say the least :happy10: and the longest for sale / Trade thread I have ever seen :-D
I hope the weather clears and you enjoy the trip :happy10: Give leanna a hug for me Small Block

Good luck Bill! I hope everything works out for you. We were close and now I've decided to sell my 68 Charger in the late spring.

Small Block, I'm still drooling over this car =P~ (many pages ago) and wish you were closer. It would look great next to my Demon! Good Luck w/ the trade......

I saw Small Blocks car today, went for a ride and looked it over inside and out. The car is straight as an arrow, runs strong and couldn't be built for the asking price. It is not a trailer queen but is a very nice driver; I just don't have the $10K it will take to close the deal and the price is firm.

You can get in this car and drive it anywhere.

Thanks for the hospitality today Bill.

Always glad to meet another member Roger. Thanks for the kind words about the car. That's the first time i've had it out for about 4 months. I had to laugh when i had my foot in it and you ask if i had ever had it to the track. We got out of it at 85 mph in a very short distance. Good talking to ya Roger. Now i would like to hear about those guns. PM me.

You have a great car there. I wouldn't budge an inch on the price, the right person will come along.

Yes, the hood is painted PPG black with a flatener in the paint making it look like the original Organisol. All my Dusters hoods are painted this way. In the bright sunlite you are glad it is.

I can't believe you still have this car..but the green '73 sold i don't get it...

Cool deal.
But it only took a full year to get it sold. First post was Feb. 23/09 Sometimes good things come to those that wait.
