Hey!
Was at Wallyworld getting groceries this Am. I hate going, usually spend money on stuff I don't need. (Back when I had a job it was 1- 20, $.92 Hotwheels each week, $20.00 or less depending on what was available. Only bought Mopars and classics, no crazy stuff)
So here we go for today. Got 1 unemployment check left at end of month. ABB and I , empty nesters. Have been looking for stock for ebay sales that are easy to ship.
You guys have a look and tell me what you think. These are NOT hotwheels but;
1: Prices on Hotwheels have totally crashed.
2: The quality on these are unbeleivable at almost double the weight and # of stampings/parts on each of the cars.

I have bought small 10:01 hotwheels scale diaramas from this company through walmart. I'll show you one oin next post on thread.
Meantime, CHECK THESE OUT!

Are you all getting up to go to you're Walmart right now?
I couldn't afford them, but I bought every one they had.
I looked over at ABB, she shrugged and said those should sell easy! (Not sure if I want to get rid of them but don't tell her!!!):toothy10:

I really had no business buying them, because of the money ending soon but, I couldn't walk away and leave them set there for under $50.00!
Am I madly insane, stupid, irresponsible, childish, impulsive, bad boy, right? I should go ahead and take em back now right? Like Bass fishing, catch, pic, release! Money back in pocket!

I see those once in awhile but refrain from buying them. I really like the 71 Super Bee.
What kind of profit do you get off them when they are available at wallyworld? Good luck with the sale (if you can let them go), sounds like you have some good ebay fodder there.
 
Don't know yet.
The same type things (but not usually mopar) pop up usually once every 3 months, sells out in a couple weeks. Every Walmart different.
They might not even be any interest but with 9 cars, 6 different, 3 doubles, I could take the 3 doubles to Yard Dawg (guy I sell abody parts for here) he's in the hospital right now and is bed ridden. I could give him the 3 and at $15.00 I wouldn't miss that. Sides, probibly owe him $300.00 in parts right now! LOL!
I loaded up one of those digital picture frames I had in office when I had a job. I loaded it up with 300+ images of mopars, in shows, in his junk yards, cool looking parts we have sold or selling, any pics I've used and prepped for FABO. I dropped it off Friday and when I left he had it on his lap watching it like a portable TV. He's got a small room so 3 of these cars won't take up much room but will let him leave mentally a few times I bet!:cheers:
 
That sounds like a great idea.

I have noticed that stuff comes and goes quickly at the stores. I haven't seen some of those cars you have so you must have been the first one there since they stocked the shelf.
 
You should see the paint on these things! The metal flake is WOW!
The metalic paint carries through to the rims too! Love the rubber tires!
It's everything I can do NOT to take them out and play with them!
Bet they play alot better that a regular Hotwheels!
Engine Bays are even detailed!

I hope I don't sleep walk tonight and get one of the fastback Chargers out!

You would not beleive the blue paint on them. I'm thinking on deboxing one just to shoot the paint code into the computer and get new paint mixed for BOF our 67!
If I end up deboxing for paint code formula, the car might get scuffed and shipped somewhere.
Don't drool, I haven't deboxed yet!
 
oh its on the box 1:64 same as AFX H.O. slot cars
I think hot wheels are 1:87 same as H.O. trains and old T-jet slot cars
 
I got a few from that company, they make some really nice stuff. I got a few of the fastback charger in different colors and wheels. Another hobby that I never stopped collecting. My wife calls me a big boy.
 
nice score. I havn't seen that '70 Super Bee, I've got all their other '70 Super Bees. I'll have to keep an eye out for that one.
 
Gave the doubles away to Yard Dawg. He's in the hospital right now and he was really diggin them when I was leaving and saying good by!

I didn't know it but the other 6 forms the complete set for this issue!!!
He told me while he was oogling the boxes!!!8)
 
Hey FABO!, ABB is up at walmart right now. Remember when I said they hardly get them in?

Well I bet ABB if they even had anymore this weekend I would eat her underwear!!
She called just now to ask which ones I wanted for dinner!! HA HA!!!

Walmart got another case lot of what was pictured! 12 cars!!
They have another box of a previous older series issue that has a charger, cuda, and another chrysler not in stock!!

Spent money without even going there!!! Plus I have to welch on a bet. I can't eat her underware anymore with my stomach problems!!! Maybe if she gets the edible kind. I think she was looking foward to making me eat some great big shorts (boxer) type. I sudgested thong!!! LOL!!!

Go check em out, they just stocked again!!

I told her which ones to get me and I got Yard Dawg a couple more for his hospital room. I'll drop those off monday when I take ABB ointo work. His hospital is 2 blocks down the street!! Took him in DD coffee today but he was still asleep!???!!8) (he told me to come at 7:30, It was 8:10!!! Oh well, he'll love the cars monday!

I told ABB I would pay for the cars by selling some of my vintage 60's & 70's Hotwheels! I likethese better than Hot Wheels! Better quality & more adult if that makes any sense!8)
