You made mention about the glamis dunes. I do know the Patton Race Engines can build some insane power on pump gas, with not very big displacement. I bought some parts years ago off of somebody who had one of his street motors, it was Ford 351 based motor, somewhere around 380". Put out over 650 horsepower, was beyond pricey though, close to 30k. But then again, some of those guys have over 150k in just fab work........
