Ebay Aluminum Radiator

UPDATE: I have the Champion radiator off of eBay in my 408 edel headed 73 Duster, After getting the right part, I had to drill a couple of holes in the mounting bracket, and that was all of the mods needed. I used the original Viscous Fan, same spacing on the mounting. However, it is about 1/2" from the radiator, so the shroud was omitted. This is because the radiator brackets are mounted flush with the front of the radiator, and not staggered as on the OE. As a result, the radiator is spaced towards the driver about 1/2 as opposed to OE. The hose sizes remained the same, but the overflow teat is on the wrong side, so I had to snake a tube around to feed into the OE tank, which bolted up in the same location.

RESULTS: Very pleased. My old 2 core OE piece would gradually overheat on the highway at 60 mph (3100 rpms). With the new Aluminum 3 core, I recently ran the Duster back home from the Dragstrip at 75 (3600 rpms) for 20 minutes, and the temp needle did not move from where it sits, after warmup, around 165! (I have a 180 degree thermostat). Previously, warmed up was around 180. It works very well, excellent $200 investment.
