Oh hell yes. I switched my Valiant from the nine inch drums to the 12 inch (okay 11.75) rotors on the front and 11x2 inch drums on the back. I use a '75 Duster manual disc brake master with an adjustable proportioning valve. This car now stops like you dropped an anchor. I no longer have to plan my decellerations a week in advance. Plus, I get to use the more common big bolt pattern wheels.
