Just fitted a secondhand 360 with 6/71 blower.

Freshened it up, made a new custom oil pan and pick up, fitted MSD 6al ignition, new TTI headers

Took it out for the first time today and ran 11.3366 sec @ 112.37 mph with 1.6003 sixty foot.

Air temp was 40 f and was using 114 octane fuel.

Didn`t lean on it too much so reckon it should crack a 10.

Pretty sure this is the fastest full bodied s/b Mopar in UK now ??

Sounds like a winning combo! Post a few pics!

With some more work I think this will run a 10.

Here`s the basic set up.

8 to 1 low comp +0.030 360
6/71 blower set on 6 psi
2 x Carter 600 cfm 4 barrell carbs on 1" open spacers
Home ported T/A heads + home ported Offenhauser intake
Sunoco 117 octane leaded race gas
2500 stall convertor
MSD 6al, MSD leads and dizzy
TTI headers
Comp Eng 60/40 drag shocks front
Caltrac split mono leaf rears with Comp Eng shocks
Small bolt pattern Cetrelines with lightweight wilwood discs up front
135 / r15 / 73t front tires @ 45 psi
28 / 9 / 15 rear tires at 8 psi
Ford 9" rear with 411 Richmond ring and pinion
Holley blacktop and fuel line cooler set at 5.5 psi
Car weighs 2500 lbs without driver
Lexan all round, glass hood and trunk, no dash or interior, doors and everything cut and lightened

Am currently building a 408 stroker which will be lighter than this. Stroker build will be 500 hp plus 100 shot of nitrous. Car without supercharger will be 2400 lbs and approx 580 hp

:toothy10:

Hard work for us over here as everything has to be bought in USA and shipped in

Limey, what kind of pistons are you running? Are they OEM cast pistons or aftermarket? Also, what cam are you running? I know you sad this was a secondhand motor but was curious if you knew what the internals were.

Sorry

They are not oem pistons

Pretty sure they are mahle, but don`t know for sure til the motor gets pulled

very cool and nice to se another blown smallblock from europe:)
thats running pretty strong considering the fairly low bost
sounds good to:)

Hydraulic

But, again I can`t tell you specs til I open the engine up later in the year

Understood. I figured you didn't have the spec information but wanted to know the cam type. Who is the mnfr of the blower and manifold? Is it ia dedicated blower manifold or fabbed up from a stnd piece. Also, if you get a chance, I would like to know the teeth count on your pulleys.

Jon you gonna tidy that car up????? ,Your gonna give us limeys a bad name....Luv it mate.See you at the track some time
