904 vs 727 fit in an early A

Although your question was pertaining to my comment, you should also be aware that the stock 64/65 buckets are wider than the 66 buckets. Once the 66 console is installed you might have problems adjusting the seats back and forth due to being so tight against the console. I did the same swap years ago in my 65 GT convert and for and aft seat adjustment was difficult at best. I am putting a buddy seat in my 65 Dart wagon but am using 66 Barracuda buckets to give me the adjustment room.

I have a set of 66 buckets. I was selling them with tracks and all for $100 - no takers. I'm glad now that I might have to use them in the 64!!!

Actually, I'm probably going with a set of sebring buckets that I have. About the size issue. I'm just looking to pinch a few pennies now. I have a fully rebuilt, single pin - 67 727 ready to install. My 904 is only a core. I'd have to get that rebuilt before can use it.
