Bad Apple Duster project

To me it pays homage to the green color so many early 70's cars came with from the factory yet it looks fresh and 100 times better.

That's kinda what i'm going for, when i saw how much flake was in the paint and how it looked like a 70's paint job i wanted to keep that theme going with the aluminum slots. Want it to look like it rolled out of the 70's!

Hey Craig! Haven't seen you around in a long time, how you been?
Why are you selling yours?

I'm actually here quite a bit, just reading whats going on mostly. Been busy with Mopars at the Strip lately.

I've decided that I should give the Duster what she deserves and let someone finish her. Its too much of a pain to try and ship a car thats not running from Hawaii.

First chance I have had to look at this thread Kev. You did an AWESOME job. If I remember correctly, it was at the picture #2 stage when I was down to see you. I also notice that you paint the garage doors, just like me. LOL Wish I was coming down to Carlisle to see it.

Thanks Jack! Yep painting the garage doors was my practice pattern! LOL

Just got it fired up for the first time today after some wiring issues, so good to hear it running!
Still have some light issues to work out, only about half of them work!

Very nice work. Love the color. I was just talking to badart about painting my wagon that color. Would be a ton of green though. I will need to come up with something to complement it.

Dang, I missed this thread until now.

Awesome work you pulled off....it looks really good!

You know Evil I've never been a fan of green period but in this case I think I'll make an exception, that looks real nice. Has that good metallic mixed in?

Geez, never liked green? Hate to disapoint you but it's my favorite color! Green brings to mind the deep woods and hunting..

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Got a front tire rubbing issue! Manage to catch the fender and bender the bottom a little and take the paint off, gonna have to go to a little shorter tire.

That color looks so good on your mopar! It's like a factory color. Mopar always used outrageous colors that were still beautiful.

I think the scoops gonna look good on there. Paint turned out real nice too. Keep the progress pics coming man- great job
