69 Dart 440 Convertible

Hey George, looks like you have come a long way since I saw your rag top in October. Great looking work! I took your suggestion and I am replacing the exhaust system (pipes only) with the a stock system from Antique Exhaust Systems, Ohio. I will find someone to fix the tear in the front seat, and the am radio. I need to take a look at the steering column to see why the steering wheel has axial play, but I am waiting for the weather to warm up just a bit. I took it out for a ride last month and love it! Hope to see you on the road this summer!

Hi Dave! Glad to have you here man! I miss the old car, but I'm having fun doing the vert too. Glad you're getting that crappy Summit exhaust off that beautiful car. I never did like it, but the price was right and it did sound good!
I'm hoping to have this one on the road this summer, finished or not! I'm sure I'll see you around. Maybe I can make the Friday night McDonalds cruise a few times. You'll have to make it to the Monroe Friday cruise too! It would be nice to see the Gold car again. Hope you have been well Dave!!

The "KING" has returned, I missed this thread when you started it in February but I will keep it on my watch list now. George your stuff is great, you do top notch work my friend. Looking forward to seeing this one on the road. I'm sure it's going to be super cool, with the big block and the four speed, that thing is going to scream!!

For us guys that didn't see it when you bought it you should post the off the trailer pictures if you have them. Keep up the good work and as always post a ton of pictures as you go. Take care,,, Rich.

LONG LIVE KING George!!!
RichieO!!! My biggest fan in the world! When are you coming to visit family in CT??? I still owe you a ride, and some seat time in the vert!!

Thanks for all the kind words guys, I really appreciate it.

Here are the latest pix from this afternoon. I was fitting up the front fiberglass and grill so I can get them ready for prep & paint. It looks like I'll be painting this car in sections (I've done it before, no biggie) rather than as a unit. I just don't have that amount of time like I had with the gold car. This one doesn't have to be as pretty, though! LOL

George
