OK OK OK......I will admit that the first red does not look to shabby (I WAS WRONG) lol......but I still think the white and black look best.

as has been said before...it is your car,do what you want to do.

and GREAT JOB on the photoshoping.....I almost couldnt tell it wasnt real!

If you want subtle, go with flat black, if you want a sledge hammer in a china store , go red ! A few years ago I saw a T/A Challenger that was black with red stripes & it looked wicked bad !

i agree with 67cuda360, if youre gonna go red get it painted with clear coat, not just the decal. my 2 cents

Personally, I would leave the Duster just the way it is. The black stripe-delete look is very clean, and its goes great with a flat black hood. Not every A-body needs stripes! Of course, I'm probably a little biased.

forgive me if the stripe is not perfect or even correct for that year but here are some shots for ya. :)

Very nice photoshop work. They all look good and now that I see them on the car I like the gray, maybe a shade darker though. The red one isn't near as bad as I had it pictured in my mind. If you do go with the red make sure that you paint it on.

OK, so you say you want to sell your car. If that's the case, here's an opinion you've gotten before but with a reason you haven't heard before:

Leave it alone without a stripe in order to maximize your possible buyers.
Why?
If a buyer likes it without a stripe, they'll buy it. If they'll like it better with a stripe, let them put the stripe on. That way the new buyer will pick the color stripe he wants.
If you put a stripe on it, you're going to reduce the number of prospective buyers to only those that like the new color combo.

Good luck with your sale.

67cuda360 thats really cool work now we have a bigger problem they all look good but the white and red does it for me 2 more days guys tell me now what youlike . number 5 got my vote

Thanks. I agree with what has been stated before. If you are planning to sell the car, leave it as it currently is. It looks great and you'll increase your buyers pool.

If you plan on keeping the car and you want to go with red (which i love) i would say go with version 4, have it painted and finished with clear, it will look way nicer than just a red decal, but that is just my opinion. If it was my car, the red sticker option would be at the bottom of the list, red paint and clear would be in the top 3 :)

Isn't that always the way it goes... the more opinions you get, the harder it becomes to make a decision LOL. Good luck.

Lets see a yellow, lime green or an hemi orange stripe....... 67cuda360 you got some mad photshop skills....

The red makes it look too "Novaish" IMO...

I like no stripe the best, second choice would be white, third choice is grey...

BTW - what are you asking for your car without adding more paint?

I just sold a nearly nos sharktooth grill that I was going to put on that car. I like the grill, don't like the wing, don't like the dual scoops, I would have used the center snorkle style scoop, I had a complete 72 4 speed set up for it, sold most of that, I would put the rallyes back on, and definately a black stripe. I also would have removed the headers. I have a nearly nos set of 340 exhaust manifolds that were going to be put on it as well. We all have our own tastes and all that matters is that you like it and are happy with the changes. I'm a sucker for black cars. Enjoy it!

Now that makes sense..........

Did anybody say GOLD stripe? Very rare .... My first experience driving a 340 Duster was a 71 , black interior , black exterior , I think it had a black vinyl top ( Can't remember ) , with a GOLD stripe "340".. auto on column , bench seat , Chrysler office worker owned it ......That car looked BAD !

Mike I vote for the first Red. Looks great. Silver looks good also. My two cents
