was looking for a radiator for my 75 Hang 10 Dart that has a 410sb and will be running a/c.

Saw these listed on ebay and was wondering if anyone is using one or has any opinions on a good radiator for my application.

They look about the same quality as the Jegs brand that I bought. My seems to be holding up pretty good, you may wanna make sure you get the right height on that so the hood will clear though.

anyone have a good link to one that fits well? my 71 440 duster needs something more than its got right now.... i just havent gotten around to measuring searching etc...

I tried one of these (well, different seller but looks exactly the same) for my 72 Barracuda...had fitment issues.....it was twisted/racked too...
I sent it back and bought a used standard style.

On the other hand, have seen many cars at cruises with these less expensive aluminum rads in them....so i dunno.

I bought on, 2374, I think, it was the wrong size, 22x22. They picked it up, for free, and shipped a new on, that is supposed to be 26x22. Should be able to test fit it tommorrow night, I will let you know.

It says it's a 3 row and the tubes are spaced 3/8" apart. But it doesn't say how big the tubes are. I'd prefer a 2 row with 1" tubes. But then I'm not making 850hp.

When I called the vendor and asked about the price quite awhile ago He said he was not ashamed to say that they were made off shore. American rads are in the $650-1000 range.

I have been running a Champion radiator in my Cuda for the last three months. It seems to do a good job. the first one they sent out was twisted too, I called them and they sent out a new one the next day. The holes do not line up and you will need to do some work for a fan shroud. they seem to be a good deal for the money . Good luck ! Craig

Me, I had a custom aluminum rad made in America for my '62 Lancer (w/aluminum 225) by this guy. Workmanship and quality are beautiful - I put up words and pictures over here.

My car has a universal aluminum radiator from Summit due to cooling issues it was having when running the ac. It works OK, the only thing I don't like is that the radiator does not have a drain plug. I'm also thinking of installing an electric fan for even better cooling in stop and go traffic.

UPDATE: I have the Champion radiator off of eBay in my 408 edel headed 73 Duster, After getting the right part, I had to drill a couple of holes in the mounting bracket, and that was all of the mods needed. I used the original Viscous Fan, same spacing on the mounting. However, it is about 1/2" from the radiator, so the shroud was omitted. This is because the radiator brackets are mounted flush with the front of the radiator, and not staggered as on the OE. As a result, the radiator is spaced towards the driver about 1/2 as opposed to OE. The hose sizes remained the same, but the overflow teat is on the wrong side, so I had to snake a tube around to feed into the OE tank, which bolted up in the same location.

RESULTS: Very pleased. My old 2 core OE piece would gradually overheat on the highway at 60 mph (3100 rpms). With the new Aluminum 3 core, I recently ran the Duster back home from the Dragstrip at 75 (3600 rpms) for 20 minutes, and the temp needle did not move from where it sits, after warmup, around 165! (I have a 180 degree thermostat). Previously, warmed up was around 180. It works very well, excellent $200 investment.

Glad to see this I just ordered same radiator with two 12 inch fans. Thanks jimmyray.

I will be most interested to see how well those fans work. I looked at the same package, but stuck with the stock style fan. Let us know your results!

How thick are they? I have aftermarket A/C and have some real tight viscous fan to radiator issues.

Thanks
Sean

Thats a great looking radiator. I wonder if I could fit one of those in my 68 barracuda with a water pump change (lower hose from drivers to passenger side).

They have both applications

FYI, "off shore" = Yangzhou Jiahe Radiator, in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. I found a recent ocean Bill of Lading on the web.
