I bought a b body 8 3/4 off of a member. will this fit in a 64 dart with 15x7 cragars? it measues 60 1/8" i believe

You,ll have to move your spring perches to 43 inches. You,ll have a problem with not enough backspacing.Your best bet is to have it shortened if you want to keep your Cragars.

thanks. the perches have been moved already..

The A-body 8 3/4 in my 66 Dart measures 57 5/8 thats with 10x2 1/2 inch brakes,so the extra 3 inches of that B-body rear you,ll have to divide in 1/2(1 1/2 inches)it might squeeze in depending on your tire size?

hey thanks pettyblu! ill see what i can do. my dad says we can make anyhting work. and most of the time hes right.

It all depends on the backspace of your wheels. I have 14x8 mags with 4" backspace mounted to an a-body 8.75 and they barely don't fit, just maybe a 1/2" too wide. running 245/60/14's. Got it jacked up with air shocks, I rolled the wheel lips but not very well, a better roll will probably allow more clearance but really i just like the jacked up look haha.

It will fit, If ya don't mind tha wheels stick'in out tha wheel wells....YUKK....I have tried all tha 8 3/4" rears, and tha closest(with NO cigar) U kan find, iz a 65 belvedere, or corronet, and they are still too wide for a dart...I been fight'in this problem with my dart wagon for a while...I have a set ov ole aluminium slots, and tha offset iz all wrong...I now have tha stock (7 1/4") rear, but kan't use my 10" wheels...Tha only solution I kan see iz cut a rear to tha size I need....

It will fit and the wheels will not be sticking out if you get the correct backspacing. All I had to do was bend the inside lip of the fenders up to prevent any rubs. The only time it rubbed was on really hard bumps, until I bent the lips up. I wish I still had the car so I could show a picture. I was able to run 8" wide rims with 275X60X15. Mine was a 67-69 B-body rear; I don't recall what its measurements were. If yours is the same, you'll be fine. If you have the 71 and later B-body 8 3/4, you definately need to trade it or get it narrowed.
