Dog destroys cop car

That's actually one of the worst things you can do to a dog. Tying them up will produce an unhappy, unsocialized, and mean dog. A fenced yard, electric or otherwise, is a better solution. I work for the local H.S. and have seen dogs tied up for basically ever. Collars embeded into their necks, no fresh water avail, no shelter. Makes me sick.

People who want to own dogs need to be responsible for them. Teach them obedience and care for them properly or just don't have one.

As for what may have happened to someone walking by...you can see in the video this was a game for that dog. His fur was not raised, his tail was wagging, he was not attacking so much as playing tug-o-war. Just with a very large chew toy.

yeah, I have seen all that cruelty stuff before, it's nasty, but you can also tie up a dog repsonsibly and still have a very happy, healthy dog.

I have a dog right now female shepherd/chow that I cannot let run loose because she can jump and climb fences.
She jumped my mini van one day going after a cat.

Electric fences do not work for her.

I have to keep her tied to a long cable run and she is happy like that.

Either that or build a 15' tall fence or a kennel.

The point I was trying to make is the pack mentality of dogs running loose.

I've seen them tear up livestock, humans and terrorize.

When I lived in Pennsylvania I went for a walk in the woods behind my house and decided to take my bushmaster with me just in case since dog packs were killing livestock in the area and coyotes ran in packs once the idiots turned them loose to cut down deer population.

Lucky I did because I came across a pack of 9 dogs with 2 pittbulls leading the charge.

I was forced to shoot five out of nine dogs with the two Pitts requiring multiple rounds.

Needless to say the neighboring farmers were happy I decided to take a walk that day with my friend.
