Not new, but hello anyway.
I guess I never introduced myself, so here goes.
I'm Brad. I live in Bellevue, NE now; hopefully that will change this year. I moved here from Summerville, SC where I spent 14.5 years.
I am building a 65 Barracuda w/ 500ci 440 w/ Stage VI heads w/ Max Wedge ports, M-1 single plane intake, 1050 CFM Holley DP, 4-speed, and narrowed Dana 60 w/ 4.10 posi. I have owned the car for about 4 years now and the only work I've done to it so far is swap it over to big bolt pattern disk brakes up front and cut the rear fender wells out for tubbing. During that time I spent 1.5 years in Turkey and I deploy a lot so it doesn't leave much time for working on anything. I plan to get some rear frame rails from Autoweld and backhalf the car, but I still haven't made the templates for sending to them to build mine. After welding in my new rear frame rails, I'll be installing my ladder bar and coil over rear suspension. My plan is to make the interior pretty much stock except for a cage and racing seats. I plan to build my own cage and headers. I may not be that good of a welder now, but I figure I will be by the time I get it finished. Since I still haven't made any progress on backhalfing the car, I will probably try to motivate myself to getting the engine and trans in the car first so I am still making some progress while I wait for the frame rails.
I'm hoping that when it is done it will look similar to the cars of Blownfish or fstfish66. I think they both have beautiful early A's.
Anyway, hello all and thank you to those that will give me help and advice in the future or have already provided me with info and assistance towards puting this thing together.
