Freshly Painted Valve covers---opinions?!

flat black and chrysler blue on the fins and the m/t. plan on buy the 318 sticker cudachick has as her avatar.

I "personally" am not a fan of the blue on black but its going on your car so do what you like!

I am working on cleaning up a set of holleys just like those right now and at one point in time someone had wrinkle coated them and that stuff is coming off HARD
 
I agree, I'm not too crazy about the blue on black, I normally polish the top of the ribs... but, as was mentioned, it is your car! It may look way cool on the engine and in the car as a whole package.
 
thats what i asked for hahah but i like it. i just wanted to seee what others thought...
 
Also, I'm assuming it looks better in real life than the pic because the black is probably actually darker than it looks in the picture, is that correct?

Eh' mine's nothing special, and some people hate it when they see it, but I like peronalized stuff and get real bored with factory options.
 
YEAH right dude! your car may be my favorite car I've seen. although DRENO's is pretty badass too
 
Looks good to me, I appreciate it when people aren't afraid to do something different.
 
plus, that blue is my favorite color ever. every engine ive done its been that color. hell if i had a HEMI it would end up being Chrysler blue!

what does it mean if its a holley? mine are also Holley's

... and I'd bet $1.00 that both of your sets say "Holley - Mickey Thompson 318 / 340 / 360" on the insides. :)

Nice paint job! Talk with 2 Darts about the call out decals, and to GTGrinly about preparing them.

Mine just says 318/340/360 on the inside from what i remember anyhow
