Hi, I'm Dean from Asheville. I've been lurking for a little while. I grew up Chevy but always liked Dusters and a Dart came along I couldn't pass up. Its a 75 Dart Sport with a slant 6, A/C, automatic. Since I've had it I did a disc brake swap ( still having issues ) and a 8.25 sure grip rear end change. I've learned alot here, THANKS

I'm building a 74 Dart Sport right now...keepin' me real busy........

Keep the site posted on your car and whatever changes/improvements you make...........8)
 
The issue with the brakes is they're very touchy and if I brake hard the brakes keep braking for one to two seconds after I lift my foot.
 
welcome aboard deanster! hey did you know that your dart has a 76 front grille? the amber turnsignals are a dead giveaway. nice car, keep asking away we can help....
 
No I didn't know about the grill but I'm suspicious about the fenders being changed. Thanks.

Welcome! I have lived in Dallas most of my life but was born in Ashville. Still have family up there. Beautiful area, I used to visit every year off leicester hwy. Good luck with your Dart.

Its amazing how many old threads keep getting brought up. But hey im in Hendersonville and figure youve probably fixed your issues by now.

Have you replaced the Master Cylinder?

You should check the MC push rod.

WNC is still a great place, in its rural areas, & its small towns.

Asheville itself is now "implant-city", with all the charm of
San Francisco, Detroit and Newark, run by liberal carpet-
baggers. Natives are looked down upon, left-out, & 2nd
class citizens. 90% of its industries have closed, & home
prices inflated over the moon by retirees & speculators.
Downtown streets are becoming like bombed-out drainage
ditches, gangs have staked-out many neighborhoods,
and graffiti covers everything but trees. Sad to see.
