blowed up slant 6

I had a Chrysler Ind 225 in a piece of equipment make a rod look like yours. The rod broke at the thin spot at the rod bolt head. The cap was still bolted to the pieces of rod in the pan. The rod that came out of the equipment had no piston attached to it, was a twisted rod with a wrist pin attached to it. I found it in the belly of the equipment, it pitched it out the motor.
The operator said it was still running at speed when he shut it down. The reason he shut it down was to look because of the noise and oil leak from the window in the block.
