Took the car for a shakedown last night and found many annoying little bugs to work out which are actually serious little bugs. Still chasing heat issues, oil leaks from mopar chrome oil dipstick tube and from 90 degree oil filter adapter.
GRRRRR!!!! Oh the fun of new car bugs. Had to cool it off after 230 was hit on the temp, I think I have this one figured out. Has anyone used any other type of dipstick tube other than the mopar one, like Milodon or Lokar? The mopar one is a pain to install and even though I siliconed it it still leaks. As for the 90 degree filter adapter, are there better gaskets for those other than the mopar ones? Oh well, at least I have winter to get the car painted and finished.
