Help me bombard the phone of the guy who scammed me! Also, anyone in St. Louis?

-
I have called the number twice now at 1:30 am. first one no answer, last night answered and hung up but i will keep it up. Lets call all times of day or night.

If you flag from the same house through the same modem (cable/phone etc..) you will have the same IP address-does not change with different computers in the same house.

CORRECT. I am using from 3 diff computers in 3 diff places. :)

Just finished flagging for ya!

Here is what I would do. Find a car you think he would be interested in... tell him you want to trade him the car... Make sure its something realllllly nice! Then set up a good time to meet. Send him pictures of the car. When and if he meets.... well that's up to your imagination :)

Flagged! Now, if only you could still use call redirection (the service for the deaf to type in what they want to say on the computer, and have a middle-person speak with the other party on the phone)... it would be great to have some random old lady asking where her wheels were!!!

Just called to see if the mags were "still available". For some reason his voice mailbox is full.

while they are probably the same mags as he "sold" me the ones i was expecting in the mail were 15 X 7 and 15 X 4.5.

seems that even if i got something, they would have been 14's anyway.

this dude had no intention of dealing squarely AT ALL.

and again, i cannot thank you folks enough for helping me get my pound of flesh.

anyone who needs an errand run in the SF Bay area dont hesitate to drop me a line.

i cant say it enough that team FABO is the best.
tighter and more full of tricks than the Harlem Globetrotters!

Give me the link of the rims that ringy bought an i'll call him and set something up and go get em. Hey Vic, Let's take a ride for old time sake.Hey ringy, mail me a copy of the M.O. so i'll have some ammunition. I'll PM you my address.
Small Block

I emailed the guy last evening and told him i had a 56 efie that i needed rims for. Told him i was located in Missouri and i would be in his area in a week or two. That's enough time for ringy to get me a copy of the MO. Haven't got any answer yet but it's still early.

Go get a pound each of Meth, Cocaine, and Weed, then go tape them under his car and call the police... it may cost thousands of dollars, but it'll be worth it.

Just flagged the ads for you.

Wow still not fixed? Well if I get my Mopar this summer and have it road worthy I think I can stop by with some friends and a shot gun or two. But for now I'll go flag him and maybe call him.

I hope you`ve contemplated filing for mail fraud with the USPS. You can get the form online. I would send him one final registered letter. Let him know that you will be filing a complaint for mail fraud with the USPS if he doesn`t complete the deal immediately. If he doesn`t reply once you`ve done that then just file and let the USPS (feds) take him to task.

Well I hope this helps you out Ringydingy.

All his ads have been flagged plus a call to St. Louis Craigs list to complain about his ads.
Actually got to talk to a fellow named Leon and he wrote down some info. Will see where that goes.

Will try to get thru on the telephone as I have an urge to purchase a Vega, LOL

Longgone -
My post office told me that the usps doesnt follow up on this kind of thing. only the police after a civil complaint is filed. the filing fee is $205 in California, which is where i live.

If you have any info about how i can actually get the USPS to follow up on this I would be very grateful.

His phone has been getting hammered by me at all times of day and night. We have exchanged words that would make Dice Clay or Richard Pryor wonder where we got the dirty words from...

Lastly, another round of GIANT THANKS to everyone who has helped out on this one in any way.

When i have a bad day I can always count on you guys to cheer me up. FABO rules!

First let me start by saying that I hate scammers just as much as the next guy and I think this guy is scum.

BUT.....some of this seems a bit childish.....you cant send people to go beat him up or anything because then you or whoever you send would look like the bad guy in the eye of the law.

also all of the phone calls and stuff could probably be considered as harassment.

more often than not....the people who are not afraid of taking someones money or afraid of facing of with the person they screwed over......they are more so effected when they KNOW the law has been brought into the situation...not just when they are threatened with it.

you should probably call his hometown police department and explain the situation to them and atleast ask THEM to personally call him or his family and have the police see what they can do and also have the police inform them that you have full intentions of having him prosecuted to the max and have the police explain what kind length of a jail sentence and cost of fees would normally run for a crime such as what he has committed.

A scare tactic if you will!

there is always a loop hole to get around things......don't let this guy get comfortable with scamming people by letting so much time go by and letting him think he got away with it.

the more time that pass's.....the more it becomes old news.....the harder it will be to get anyone to stand up and help you fight to get your money back.

there has to be a different way to file charges against him and without costing you so much money...you really need to look in every nook and cranny and comb over all options......it all depends on how bad you want your money back.

but mail fraud is mail fraud......thats a government thing....seems like there would be an easy way to handle it.

say you seen a bum come up to your mail box in the middle of the night and take your mail......it shouldnt cost you anything to atleast get them in trouble.....the biggest thing is.....can you get back what was taken from you?......time will tell
