Pics: Booze, Broads & Hotrods
Here are the pics from this past Saturday's Rock-a-Billy music event/car show called "Booze, Broads & Hotrods #12". I figured since there is another "rat rod" thread active right now, I might as well add these pics as well. This show was put on by a local all-girl car club: the Bombshells. Slantscamp & Ms. Slantscamp even showed up with the wagon. This took place at the Clarion Hotel (right off 101 & Millbrae Ave.) in Millbrae.
This was the first of two events that day. The second was a smaller event (and was an evening event) sponsored by my club ... the Golden State Rods (down in San Carlos).
Also, even though there were many nice cars there, once the rusty, decrepid Chrysler Airflow rolled up, it became the Belle-of-the-Ball. Slantscamp & I were first on the scene followed by quite a few other admirers. I noticed several other car owners looking over and wondering why we paying homage to such a "heap". Man, was it cool!
