anybody have experience with different la style dual quad tunnel rams? wich one is better ? looking to put one on a 408 -410 stroker, eddy heads, 600-650 lift,255/265 @050cam, 12.5 compression 0n E-85 , 2 -750 HOLLEYS , ANY INSIGHT APPRECIATED.

i think there is basicly just one comercialy available right now and that is the weiand tunnelram,if you buy one of those make sure to portmatch the top and bottom and look out for porrosity in the casting thats what i learnt from a good friends sbc weiand tunnelram.. the other option that turns up used from time to time is some very old edelbrock tunnelrams these can be had with 3 diferent tops
1 tall top piece for singelquad
2tall top for dual quads
3low top for dual quads
from the older literature i have found about them the tall top is for very highrpm like 6-10000rpm and the lower one is rated up to 7500rpm or something like that i dont remember the exact numbers but its alitle info atleast, the old edelbrock tunnelrams where what the old dc books where recomending for smallblockprostocks with dual dominators on remachined tall top manifolds..
but you can swap tops on these manifolds and a edelbrock streettunnelram top from a smallblock chevy fits the smallblock mopar base also it can be valuable to know about.
i have ran a 340 with one of these lowtop tunnelrams with two 750proforms on it and it was very drivable on the street just as much torque down low as a airgap and even more topend than my old holley stripdominator so they are very good manifolds if you have the right application for it! i dont know much about the performance of the weiand unfortionaly.
there may have been a mopar M1 at sometime along time ago but i cant help more about that either, just thought i could give you alitle information
