Police Interceptor Heads?

A guy who lives down the road from me has some police heads off a 360 that have been rebuilt. 2.02/1.62 valves from what he says. From what he says, these heads are great for performance. he was talking about selling them to me for 400. How good are these heads? Im trying to get around 400 hp from my build.

If they are freshly rebuilt and show new parts they might be worth $400. Does he have reciepts? But if they have been installed ever they aren't worth that unless they have a casting number that is rare and the cores are worth money.

The deck probably will be freshly machined, the valve seat area should look to have fresh marks if you look really really close. They should be totally clean. Should have new valve stem seals....
