I actually saw this car on someone's lawn with a for sale sign in it a few months ago. Jammed on the brakes and pulled over. I was running late as it was, but I had to look. There was a sign in the window that indicated it was a survivor, and I distinctly remember thinking that it looked
too good, regardless of the mileage. I mean these cars rust, decay, fade, etc. if you look at 'em the wrong way, this thing had to have been sealed in a vacuum chamber or something. The asking price was $14,000, I think. It was only a few miles from my house so I left, planning to return and talk to the owner, even though I knew I couldn't buy it. I went back early the next day and it was gone. Never saw the car before or since. I wondered about that for a long time.
