Hello I need to get access to my ampmeter on my 73 Dart. To remove the dash cluster, do I only need to remove the speedometer cable?
Or is there anything else
thank you

I'm not sure what the back of the cluster looks like for 73, but for the 67-9 Darts, you would need to remove the wiring plugs at the back of the dash to feed the gauges, as well as the speedo cable. I wouldn't think there would be much difference between the 67/9 and the 73 except for apprearance differences.
You should pick up a service manual for your year. It has helped me a great deal over the years.

Don't forget the main thing. Disconnect Battery first!!! I'm pretty sure you have to drop you steering column out of the way. I had to on my 67, 69 & 75. 3 bolts on firewall plate and 2 or 3 on column/dash connection.
Good Luck. Showing pics of 75 removal on members restore section under "ABodyBetty's New Baby comes home" Good Luck!8)
