Mopars can bring out the worst in people :)

I've already gotten several bad responses in the short time since i bought my 73' duster. I'll start with my favorite when i first brought up the idea of getting one to a friend:

"A duster?(*looks around*), but thats a black person's car".(followed by a lot of backpedaling when i explained that my father had one around my age)

I've yet to figure out the criteria for that comment or what even makes a valid stereotype statement or even why its bad thing of my car is popular with black folks? As you might guess, that friend is a bit racist. He objects to Obama being president based solely on his skin color.(no joke)

Then my friend who is the typical corvette tool. I got crap all the way until i bought the car because in his opinion i should have blown my savings on a C5 vette. Or at the very least an early C3 corvette that i barely fit into. And after i bought the car he started some serious **** when he compared my car to a late 70s ford LTD. What it comes down to for him is that i didnt lump myself into being a chevy-only tard. If i had bought a 60s ford mustang(other car i was interested in) i would have gotten the same crap.

Its sad when people can't appreciate other brands of cars. IMO if any company puts out a nice sports car then i'm interested.
