Death of a dart
Might have been but it needed three frame rails, driver side floor pan, both rear inner fenders (one rear seat belt mount was held in with bondo) and a new trunk pan. For $500 I bought another dart that is a good solid car. I don't think I could have bought all the parts I needed to fix it for a fraction of that. So I took the advice of some members here and took it off the road.
All the good parts on it the engine, transmission, rear end, all the interior, hood, fenders, bumpers are all going on the new dart. So I think I'm money ahead by doing it this way.
Saving it is what I really wanted to do, but it was just more work then I was capable of. Who knows though it might have buffed out! :-D
