Post your wheel and tire combos.

I had thought of going to the 7 in. with the 4.125 bs but on another post of mine a reply mentioned that I may have a problem with sway bar clearance if over 4 in.bs so I played it safe and went with 6in rims and less bs.

I need new tires on my 69 Dart GT vert after recent blow-out. Currently have 7" Cragers all the way around with 225 60x14 on all.
I want to leave the 225 60x14 on front but go to 245 60x14 on rear... for slite wider look. Any clearance issues? I see it should be ok height-wise but its gonna be close at the fender. I dont think the rims are offset.

Or should I just go 235 60x14 or just leave well enough alone and stay with what I have?

Any ideas...?

These are the specs on 60 series BF Goodrich TA:

TIRE----Rim----Sec width---OA dia----Rev

225.......6.9"........9"...........24.7".........842
235........7"........9.5"..........25.1".........820
245........7"........9.8"..........25.6".........813

245/60/R14
215/70/R14

I'm not sure on the rims, but the rear are probably 3 inch offset, 14*7.
The fronts look like 14*6.

See if the tire shop will put a 245 on just to see how it looks, and check for clearance. Make sure you try it on both sides,Mopars rear end is not centered .

Only problem is not many tire shops stock a 60 series 14" tire. The place Im getting them from is having them shipped. Guess I could make a few calls and see who may have a set to compare...

Ill have to remeasure the rims- I thought they were 7" all the way around.

So 245/60 15s should work on my 66 cuda? Does anyone know how large of tires can be put on without any suspension mods.

Pictures sometime next week when I get the wheels. :D

I'm putting that size on next week with a set of keystones on my 65 barracuda ...I'll let ya know!

I currently have a very old set of 195 70 R14's on my stock 66 Barracuda Formula S. I am thinking about going with a 205 70 R14. For those of you with stock 66 Formula S wheels, what size tire are you running?

Really tight fit in the rear, should have gone with a higher offset, but so far no scraping at all

205/70-14 is a great choice for an early A.

Here's my new set of shoes.

Fronts:
American Racing Santa Cruz rims, 15x7, 5x4.5 bolt pattern, 5.56" backspacing
Tires - 205/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's
Mods - 1.5" wheel spacers to take up the offset

Rears:
Same rims
Tires - 225/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's
Mods - E body 8.75 axle with perches moved in to A body width, rolled fender lips, still a tight fit. Would probably be just about right with a B body axle, which would let me stuff in some bigger tires =P.
