Well, after that was all finished, I was able to pull the drivers side apart and get it put back together quite easily and I was finally on my way to get an alignment. and it only took me 3 months! In the meantime I was spending so much time under a car feeling clueless I decided to go to school and become a "technician" AKA a mechanic. So, now I am going to UTI in Mooresville.
So, I got the car on 4 wheels and refilled the radiator, I'd drained it when I took the headers off. Did y'all know the header bolt holes went thru to the water jacket??? I sure didn't and seeing coolant shooting out of the bolt hole caused a whole bunch of panic!
Anyway, got the radiator filled and was getting ready to jumpstart the car when the bf and his dad pulled up. Well, the bf's dad was nice enough to offer to follow me to the alignment shop so we jumped the car and off we go......
Got to the alignment shop to a boiled engine! Yup, I hadn't made sure that the coolant was properly filled and the temp gauge on the dash is not the one I should have been paying attention to, there's a working temp gauge mounted at the bottom of the dash.
I got the alignment and 2 new front tires and the car started without much trouble.

I had 2 great days of driving. It was awesome having transportation again!!!
Then it snowed....... The snow started while we were at dinner and by the time we were on the way home the streets had gotten pretty slick and well....... I spun and hit a curb. Dented rim, and I'm walking again...
