Need Prayers for my Grandson because of seizures

My 5 year old Grandson, Gabriel has been dealing with seizures for the last 18 months. Friday Gabe had another seizure. Then after his 1st one lasted 25 minutes, he had several more on the way to the hospital in the ambulance.

They finally got them under control and then they transported him a 100 miles to St. Louis Childrens Hospital.

He was held over night for observation since he received so much and so many different types of volume to stop his seizure. He ended up seizing around 45 minutes which is way too long. Since he has already has had his EEG they have changed his medicine. He has already been having speech problems before this last group of seizures. As of the moment they have no idea what is causing them or why they are lasting so long.

Getting him to St. Louis to the specialists will hopefully get some answers and positive results. St. James Mo. is where they live, Rolla is the largest city in the area and they just aren't having much success with him.

I am asking for prayers to give the medical people the wisdom to get to the casue of the seizures and for his complete healing.

Damn Bill, I'd be devastated if one of my grandkids had a serious problem and no one could tell me why. Hope everthing works out well for him and your family. I'm not the praying type but will send you some grandpa mojo and hope for the best.

Heavenly Father, we come to you today to pray for healing and comfort for this young boy, Gabriel.

We ask that you be with the medical personnel to guide them with wisdom and courage so that may understand this illness and lead to healing.

We ask that you be with the family in this uncertain time, to lend them comfort and strength.

We ask this in Jesus' name.

Amen.
 
I'm sorry Bill, and most definitely will pray for your grandson. I use the P.U.S.H. method: Pray Until Something Happens. Jesus will take care of him. God bless you.

Hi Bill, sorry to hear about the problems your grandson is having, my oldest boy who is 18 now, had "fainting" issues and the hospitals and dr's couldnt figure out what the problem was or is. There is nothing like seeing a young family member hooked up to all machines and monitors. It isnt as serious as what Gabriel is going thru, lets hope that the Childrens Hospital can shed some light on this and get him on the road to recovery. Prayers and thoughts go to Gabriel.

Just not fair to bring something like that on a 5 year old boy. I hope they find the answers to the problem and he gets back to being a normal healthy little boy.8)

Amen on Robert's prayer "ramenth", May god be with him and fill the doctor's with the wisdom that is needed for Gabriel.
My prayers are sent and will be sent many time's through Jesus name Oklacarcollecto.

As do I Oklacarcollecto, We have service at the race track every Sunday and I will put your son in the prayer list for god's strength to remove this from his body and let this young boy be free of this.
My thoughts and prayer's are on there way, It is so hard to hear that your son or anyone's child is going though this, My prayer for strength and healing for Gabriel and the family and friends around you Oklacarcollecto

I'm sorry to hear of this. Amen to ramenth's nicely said prayer. My thoughts are with him and I hope the little guy gets better.
 
Done and done...I suffered w/seizures around that age myself. They lasted roughly a year until I grew out of them, and I believe that in time your Grandson will overcome them too. At the time my family and I had no idea what they were or what the cause may have been...Turns out that I more than likely suffered from what is called Syncope Trust And Reflex Anoxic Seizures.
