Just saw some amazing wheels that XV Motorsports has now started making. Really really nice and then I saw the price: USD899
not bad I thought and then I saw it was PER WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF!

Hopes dashed again

Have you looked around for that wheel elsewhere? Most of the **** that xv sells is someone esles product with a xv logo and a jacked up price on it.

Looks kind the style of icw wheels or volk racing wheels. The volks go for 600 a piece so who knows, it may be that they aren't just producing mass quantities so to make up for tooling cost or w/e they jack up the price. There is always someone with way to much money that is willing to pay that, but who knows.
Here's an icw and volk racing wheel similar style or at least to me they are.

price of 4 wheels is what i have into my duster total and its got 245 45 17s all around. thats pretty funny.

mmm the XV spoke is much flatter, without the groove and the studs go all around the rim.

It's a three piece wheel that XV sells........price is sorta comparable to other 3pce wheels, from CCW, Forgeline, Id Luxury (Intro) etc..

There are plenty of rims more expensive than that not from XV.

Price some Fiske rims. Like way over $1K each. By that comparison they are cheap. Which is really no comparison.

You can spend whatever you want. It's up to your where to spend it.

I guess Im just bummed because these are the exact rims Im looking for but in a 16 or 17 and maybe about 600 cheaper per wheel

Welcome to the world of 3 piece wheels. That price is definitely not out of line for a forged 3 piece. Check THESE out from Forgeline if you want to compare prices... These are a comparable design, more expensive and NOT a 3 piece. The three piece version is over 1k per wheel.

XV says their column is built for an A body, Im curious does that mean it has the flanges that meet the firewall?
I am considering a ididit or flaming river column but I am not sure what do to at the firewall.
Has anybody used these columns, and if so how to you handle the firewall support

thank you
George

ARGH and its more expensive for me!!!! Times 8!!!! plus 34% customs and tax!!!!!!!!!
So its like paying $8999 per wheel basically. Cripes!
Even little old $299 wheels are like paying $2999 due to my stupid exchange rate plus Customs and shipping, times everything by 10.

OUCH.....nobody makes wheels in SouthAfrica?

I've thought about checking it out here. It's quite basic here in a way. they don't know what magnafluxing is!

Im off on a cruise around Europe for 2 weeks, and due to our exchange rate we get 1 cruise for your 10 cruises-insane!!!!

Will have to check things out when I get back

Ive thought about these American Racing Ansen Sprints in 17 as they are similar to the original jellybean rims but...I want something a little cooler

Here are those photos of my beginnings of resto

I just saw my first real Australian Charger yesterday at a car show in Midland MI. Looked identical to the one in your picture but it was white. I specifically looked and they looked like large bolt pattern wheels. There was a 65 dart next to it making it easy to compare. I would think any mopar/ford wheels would work with the correct offset. Those are some very nice cars.
