Restoring Commando Valve covers
On mine I brushed on some paint stripper to remove the old black paint, then washed them down and painted them 2 heavy even coats of VHT wrinkle spray paint. I did this over the winter so I used a hair dryer to speed up the wrinkle process but leaving it out in the hot sun works better. My fins were nice so I left them alone.
