I have a ralley dash out if a 68 barracuda that I had planned on redoing and putting in my convertible. It wasn't until know that I realized there wouldn't be the space for the top switch since the bezel covers the whole action on the dash ( in comparison to the regular dash of a 69 dart ). Did they put ralley dashe in convertibles? If so, were te different from regular ones r was the switch located elsewhere?

Thanks guys!

It's to the left of the emergency brake. I have a 67 Barracuda convertible with the rally dash.

Thanks!

Would you happen to be ble to post a pic for me?

The top switch has the same bezel as a maplight switch and located about the same spot.

I hope this helps, it's just to the left of the emergency brake about where the dash frame starts to curve.

I just put them in, they sound great! I can open the vents but not very much, just enough. The speaker brackets came from ebay and the speakers are Pioneer 40 watt Rms, 6 1/2 inch. They rock!

I really like that you didn't cut up the door panels and to be honest with you, just how often does anyone open those vents anyway? You did it really nice and like you said they sound great. Very ingenious!

I used my spare panels, I had to cut the back out for clearance. I have a very good original set if I decide to return to stock.
