Ok if I go down to a 3.73 will it still be plenty snappy and not throw off the other stuff I have bought? I have a 3000-3500 stall vert. 440 Dana 60 Auto trans .545 lift cam.
Me personally, I'd take a chance on it to get the more streetable gear, back in the 80's me and buddy used to street race his 68' road runner 440 with a 4 speed, it had a 4.10 gear.. I live in the mountains, I'd have to throw it in neutral going down hills, that's how bad it held back, he said it was a 4.10 anyways, felt to me like a 5.56... Or maybe it was just the 4-speeds gearing...
