Up for sale is a very rare 1971 Demon 340.
It has factory air conditioning along with a factory 4 speed. When I purchased the car the previous owner said it was a Chrysler Executive car. The current powerplant is a 340 race block stroked to 416 cubes with fully ported W2 heads. Both the heads and block are vintage from late 1970's or early 1980's. I have the original block, heads and intake that go with the car.
I am asking 20,000 for it and the car is located in the charlotte nc area.

Yea, good luck, might want to post a picture thats not 4 years old, and provide a little more info, and detailed pictures. Should be a minimum post rule before selling cars..................

Looks nice I think that is a decent price, have you contacted GOVIER? It may be worth a few more $$s to get it documented and then ou may get a lot more for it after you know it is a 1 of ?? how many good luck NICE:)

You have 6-7k in engine alone + trans, gears etc...
I would think maybe even 22-24k?

What if you did a mecum reserve auction?
So what are you going to replace it with?

i just took these pics today, 6/18/2010.
the car has 1000 miles on it since it was restored. The current odometer reading is 97551.

Stats:
3.55 suregrip (came with 3.23 open which I still have)
original A833 4 speed was totally rebuilt
Pro Billet Distributor

Fully ported W2 heads (not the econo type)

I have all paperwork and dyno stats for the engine.
Tachometer was rebuilt with a modern circuit board
New radial t/a's
manual rear drum front disc brakes (was manual front and converted to kelsey hayes)
Original block, heads, manifold and other parts come with the car and its buyer.

Glad to hear! I know I was debating whether to buy it because it was built like 16 days after my car was built. Did it sell to a member on here Kobi72?

John

Great looking car but if I bought it I would have to add a scoop and Go-Wing to her.:toothy10:

Just want to thank Kobie publicly for a great transaction, what a great guy. Finally got the car on the road and it screams, best of both worlds, original block on the shelf, and a killer 416 stroker in the car, car looks great and couldn't be happier, runs tight and straight. Nice website you have here and glad I found the car, been looking for a nice 4 sp high impact Demon for a couple of years. Thanks again.
