ok guys how would you set up a suspension for a strip/street dart?i am going to be getting a set of mono leafs.calvert told me i need 5" a travel in the front suspension.i dont know what springs to get stock or 1" over.i am going to run 275/60/15 tires.

i am going to be getting a set of mono leafs.

Are you planning on running the ones from Calvert Racing? I was told that they were not recommended for street use and would wear out very quickly on the streets. I also heard that the ride was very stiff.

Not criticizing, just asking.

yes i am going to run the ones from calvert.my dart will not see alot of street time.i will ask calvert about that.

hi to use calverts on street , remove roller from on top of spring. will not be stiff then.

Use the smallest diameter torsion bars you can find. (prob not /6 bars...) These get a ton of preload and that will really help the nose lift. Get the best fully adjustable shocks you can afford for front and rear. As for ride heights...I don't like much rake on my cars because I think it looks a little silly and it doesn't help weith transfer.
