Anbody running an electric water pump on the street

Not too happy with my crankshaft pulley from March. Its the 5 1/4 size and was great in my worn out old motor but got a fresh 340 in now and hate to see the temp gauge even hit 200...175 the hottest its been so far.

For like $100 I could get a different size pulley but what about running a electric water pump? If it last at least 24 months of everyday use I be happy with it--if it kept the temps cool too. You can even run the pump for a minute after shutting the motor off.
