Babyblue66 did drawings a while back of several members's cars here, including mine, he does a great job.

There are a few "new guys" over on PT.com and Lat-g that are offering BIG SAVINGS. I MEAN BIG!!! If you hit up pro-touring.com, connect with Mascoll, DocJR, BernalAutoStyle (lat-g)

Some work from Mascoll, http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69748
(a bit more expensive but his stuff is digital 3D and amazing. having my rendering reworked a bit and he's doing some stuff for me)

Some work from BernalAutoStyle, http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=27303

Some work from DocJr, http://www.coroflot.com/public/indi...ichael&c=1&set_id=438286&individual_id=310266

Wow thanks I will check this all out. Awesome. Think u could shoot them my email so I don't have to make an account just for that.

Thanks

Chad

By the way, I think you should put the C5 drive train in your Dart! If I didn't already have a mass collection of Viper stuff for my project, I'd go the 'Vette route. Would be SWEET and very unique.

If you want GM running gear why not just get a GM....why trash a perfectly good Mopar and essentially re-badge it?

(1) I like the looks of my Dart better than the GM stuff
(2) Nobody said anything about "trashing" a perfectly good Mopar and rebadging it. If your an absolute purist put a Mopar engine in it. The C5 stuff is a better suspension design than what Mopar had 40+ years ago (though I'm sure someone would find a way to argue this) and it includes a transaxle which makes for a unique build and better weight distribution. It would still be a Mopar even if it had a 'Vette transaxle...
(3) This is what hotrodders do; take parts, put them together, and make it work... well
(4) I'm not building a car to satisfy you or the rest of the purists out there. I'm building a car for ME, to do what I want it to do.

Back to the topic. Sorry Chad. I sent an email to Shawn as well.

Viper stuff. Awe man fill me in.

I would need help making it all work in a dart. I'm not that good lol

I replied to that pm as well. Thanks again

I'm building a full chassis for my 69 and adapting Viper suspension to it. I've got a bunch of Viper stuff already, just need the suspension assembly's for each corner. I'm new to all the fab stuff myself but am taking my time, asking a lot of questions and learning as I go. If you wanted to adapt those components I think it would be easier than my Viper stuff. Reason being is there is alot of information regarding the location of suspension pickup points. From there, it's building brackets to adapt control arms. Would definitely have to do some chassis reinforcement for the transaxle but it's doable. Since you already have it, you should do some checking into it. Sign up on Lat-g or pro-touring and start asking questions. A lot of guys have done, not to Darts of course, both pro-builders and garage builders. Doesn't seem to be moving so it's worth researching anyway. You would likely have to change the setup of your backseat and may end up with a setup similar to the newer GTO's with dual buckets in the rear. I am likely picking up a GTO rear seat for my project. Can't hurt to research it all. Alot of info on PT and Lat-g...

There is a guy on Moparts.com that does incredible artwork of your car, not cheap but incredible.
Yes I forget his name but won't be hard to find if you post up.

Hey Chad, not sure if you connected with any of the guys I mentioned, but Shawn Mascoll just posted a rendering of a Dart he did for himself. Mine is pretty close to finished and will be out shortly I'm sure. He's a pic of the rendering he did for himself. This guy can do absolutely anything you want to your car, he's incredibly talented.

The color version looks great. I'm having trouble with my photobucket account so I'll have to upload that later. Pulled this from pt.com.

Zee does do really nice stuff and he was was super easy to work with. I would totally use him again....the renderings are on the home computer and I am killing time at work right now....they will be getting posted later.

They will also be posted once I start the new members project which is underway, but not enough to start a page yet.

That is very cool, how much do they charge you to do something like that? Very nice work, not crazy about the horizontal stripe on the color version but good stuff.

Depends on who you use and what their style is. Just have to connect with them and get some quotes. Typically they run any where from $225 (or so) up to $1,000+. There are a couple that are doing them real cheap, but like most stuff, you usually get what you pay for.

I thought it was pricey too, but it's well worth it in my opinion. What I posted above has more of a traditional look to it while the samples he has sent of my car, are digital 3d and very life-like. Shoot me a pm with your email and I'll send you a sample or two that I've got to give you an idea what the 3d digital is like. I don't want to post it yet because we are still playing with some different looks.

Just got my new rendering today, pretty stoked about it.

And here is another Dart Shawn worked up.

Shawn Mascoll of Mascoll Designs put these together. He does everything digital 3D, by hand. No blueprints, no aids, just studying cars, and eye-balling everything. Pretty incredible work. There is no limit to what he can do. Considering "most" of the projects on the board are resto's or resto-mod's, there may not be much call for his work, but if you're looking for amazing wall art of your ride, he's your man.

Sharpie did my first rendering. I contacted him initially when I was considering doing the wide body to see if he could rework my original rendering but I never heard back so got hooked up with Shawn. Sharpie does good work though.

Now that I think of it. I have not seen Sharpie around for some time now. Last I hered he was trying to sell his car for a move. Hope he is ok.
