why not drill a shallow hole in the position of the standard LA oiling hole on the deck, and then go in from the side of the valley , plumb it to meet another tap at the cam journal and use a feed through cam? as in

Maybe if I had a mag block laying around I would know have a better idea, I do however thing some plumbing can be made to keep out of the way of the push rods.jmo
