Seat latches for buckets out of a 4 door
Ok, don't have it all assemblied yet, but here is a progress report.
From left to right are the four that I've done so far. The metal one is the first, thought it would work but it doesn't close without an effort. The non-numbered paper mockup has the hook moved down about 1/16". The #3 mockup has the hook at the same location, but the tip is moved down a 1/32" to let the latch swing over the pin. #4 has the hook and tip both moved down 1/32".
In the end, I think #3 is the best. It looks like #2 is the closest to factory, but leaves some slop. The best part is that the ones I already had laser cut can be modified to match #3, and work great.
