  • My wife really does not like the idea of flat or satin black. She really wants to drive it when it's done. I really can't complain because she lets me do whatever I want with the car; she never objects to any costs associated with the build. She just wants to be able to drive it. She loves Plum Crazy, so I might cave in...she is too good to me to deny her that small wish. Because the car is factory white, I suggested while pearl, or maybe something like DuPont's old Amberflint paint (iridescent rainbow colors). All things considered, I should be able to dive into it hot and heavy sometime in June. It has been too long already!
Hey, man, thanks for remembering. Yes, I am still going at it, but typical delays of living do not allow me to consistently work on it. I am still stripping it down (front and rear glass and rear end remain) and am about to build a cradle to put it on to roll it around in the garage. I have decided that I need to move around the cars and reorganize the garage to most efficiently work on the 'Cuda. I have decided to use a built 400 (shooting for about 500 lb. ft. of torque). I now have the cash for that. I have decided to not go for a 5 or 6 speed trans, but will use my A-833 from a '72 'Cuda. Should be fine. No long distance road trips, however.
Read you are/were doing a,Cuda project . You were leaning towards a satin/ flat black. Any progress? In the same boat. I like , the light grey primer look.
