  • Hey are you still looking for a nose cone...68 GTS grille medallion? Noticed last year you had a thread about 68 GTS emblems and had mentioned you were looking for a nose cone. I do have one let me know if you are interested thanks!!

It’s an original metal one, honestly I’m not really sure what to ask. I have seen two for sale in my life one was NOS $2500 one was very nice used and was $900. I’m not really sure what to ask for mine but I am going to be posting it soon, just want to shine it up, soak the studs in evaporust and redo the black so it’s ready to install. I totally understand very few people can afford those kinda numbers for a trinket

Thanks. An original metal one in fairly decent shape (driver quality) is probably going to be in the $1000 to $1500 range. My budget is more like $500-$600. I still regret not buying one a few years ago at a swap meet for $400. But, at the time I thought that was stupid money and I didn't have a Dart to put it on at the time anyway.

If u can send me a PM with your email/phone I can send u some pics of it. I can’t believe they’re that valuable. Maybe we can do some horse trading cuz at 5-600 we’re st least on the same planet. I remember as a kid a close friend of the family got 3 NOS cones from the local dealer at 1968 list price.
    Don,
My white 68 fastback has red stripe tires and 1968 Virginia plates, and since I live close to Dulles Airport, it was probably my car he photographed. It was at Dulles Auto Clinic for the installation of a front end rebuild kit and for front end alignment when they had a show in their parking lot, and I frequently have it at the Friday evening cruise in at the Chik Fil A in Sterling, and the Saturday cruise in at the Burger king near the Manassas airport.
    Jim,

Does your cuda wear red stripe tires and historic plates? A buddy took pics at a Dulles car show and there was a white car like yours there...

    Don
