    LMAO! No worries!
They went to that wide C-line of 114 for super smooth idle and since gasoline back in the day was a much different animal, there was no problem running the high compression ratio and feeding it the octane required.
Just saying hello ,Robert... As for response, the the Torker 2 -340. ... I see another 408 stroker, in the long distance. Forged ,capillaries...

Thank you ,for the enlightened response. Have been looking at long case Dyno Max turbo mufflers ,for a while. Inside the car ,doesn't matter . It's a street toy ,now. However David Vizard doing mufflers d.b. discussion, I would highly enjoy. Thank You ,Mr. Robert...
Me to man the convo hasn't taken place but on th forum I have brought up a few things that were **** on but are now in semi common practice
Gave you seen the Engine Masters 408 Mopar , head porting episode on You Tube ? Give it a view, if you haven't already... Really cool,. at least we have actual dyno results, for moving the pushrod restrictions on Edelbrock RPM heads. I cannot remember, if we discussed this before... Good video....
Appreciate the thumbs up,on overpriced mufflers,Rob... My head porter, swears by them.... He actually holesawed a pair, tapscrewed with a tin patch, and high temp red Permatex... He repacks ,these burnt out cases, with stainless steel pot scubbers..It takes him four hours,to do a pair.... Just why?

If he can make some scratch doing mufflers like that, good for him. At least the old pot scrubbers are put to good use and won't burn out. LMAO!

Mufflers are a lot like what condiment you want in your burger for the day. Today it maybe just catsup, tomorrow it maybe the works.
I just now have finished up shift work (15-16 hour days). I have overnight duty on the USS TENNESSEE tomorrow. I have 1 more duty day after that, then the Navy gives me leave starting on the 16th.

I drive the family up to the inlaws in Chattanooga, Tennessee, then Arkansas to the wife's girlfriend's house, Kansas to visit my grandfather's younger brother, & then to my family in San Antonio.
