  • Thanks for comments....Looking at the E.T. on my window at the drag races reminds me of things that needed changing in order to run 12:50s on the basic truck motor. 3 pulls on the dyno with a tune on the Diablo. The big kicker was cutting 2 holes in the hood. 1 hole is plumbed to the throttle body and the other one rams fresh air into the engine compartment which keeps the engine cool. I did this hole cutting for the last race of the year and the Duster ran super consistent. Before it was like playing Russian Roulette with a Derringer when it came time to dial it in. Having the overdrive is great. Can go racing all day and still drive home with gas in the tank.
Darts all parted out. I trade them to a friend for another car. I have look on that web site but know luck. You still have ur duster?

    Good to hear from you.
Thanks... I recently bought a thermoquad Comp Series 1000 CFM, which I will probably use on the 451 motor for my 71 Roadrunner....
    hi dusterkrazy...

thanks for the complaments on my barracudas... they are (one) of the loves of my life..
    ... (after the wife..) :0)

my purple 68 came with the diamond tuffted door pannels and i replaced them with the original wood grain pannels ... along with other original restoration things i'm doing to the 68. i don't want to part with the wood grain pannels but i have no use now for the diamond ones. i have both front pannels and the two for the rear seat. these pannels are still in good condition, apart from having radio speaker holes in the front ones. you could use them as is or resurface them.

if you're interested, make an offer. like i said, i have no use for them ...

take care.. jim coster, pittsburgh, pa

Hello, can you give me the status on shipping the centerlink? I can use it soon if possible,, thanks, Derryl.
I'm going to need the complete box, but not the core. I broke it after I got it out of the car. It's fairly easy to drop out.
That will help. When would be a good time to come by during the week? I'm in the High Country on Wednesdays. Give me a call, local Carolina West number 657-1207.
