  • Probabaly no lower than 2", if I just turn the bars then the K gets lower to the ground. What spindle did you go with? MF? Fat
Do you think 1.03 bars with adjustable shocks would be fine? So would you do drop with new t bars? Or could I get away with just bigger t bars? I appreciate the help/advise.

Depends on how low you want to be.

If you wanna be more than 2" lower than stock, I'd suggest spindles, Tbars and good quality shocks.
Perfect thanks, do you know anyone selling a pair used? I checked my t-bars last night...I believe they are 6cyl ones the # on them 622/623. Would you say you need heavier bars? If so what are you running now? I do like mine to be low, but last summer I’m pretty sure I’ve bottomed out a few times.

I'm running the 1.03 bars from PST. More spring rate will help with bottoming out the suspension travel.
Hi there, I saw a post on drop spindles....I saw a pic of your 64 Dart. Did you have any issues with the k member hitting or bad ride quality? I’m not sure which way to go...drop spindle, or heavier t bars and just turn them a bit. Any help or advise I’d appreciate.
    Thanks,

I didn't have any issues or complaints with the drip spindles. They are the better way to lower your vehicle without affecting suspension travel. They do not effect ride quality at all, as that depends on spring rate and shock absorbers.

I recommend heavier Tbars. These cars were under sprung from the factory. I run the PST bars.
    Hey,
There is a very high chance I'm going to Virginia this weekend and will be going up I-85 passing pretty close to where you are at. Either leaving late Friday night or early Saturday morning. If I leave Friday night, it'll be late late. Will be returning back on Monday afternoon if that would be better. If we can't meet up on that trip, I can ship it for $3 economy or $5.75 priority (with tracking and $50 insurance). I use fruitbat03@yahoo.com for paypal. Unfortunately I don't have the 2637 or KR for 1977. I do have a 1962 that is 9602 KR. It has a lot of surface rust but is straight. I'd take $5 for it if interested. Let me know.
