  • Good Day Sir,

    I have a 383 in my 68 notchback with auto trans .
I have a BB 833 manual trans and bellhousing , nothing else .
Can you reccomend a Hyd setup(company) including peddles and throwout bearing .
I think trying to figure out what linkage I need for the stock setup plus considering header clearance to be complicated. Im hoping Hyd will be easier
    thank you

American sells a whole kit through Summit. You can call them and they used to sell direct.
The only reason I didn't use their cylinder is because my pedals mount on the floor, race car.
It works well and most of my problems are self induced.
McLeod sells a kit as well.
If you look at my thread you will find pictures.
Let me know if I help.

    Your INBOX is full.
Hi, I’ll take the pro/stock valve covers if available….I can’t seem to PM you since your mailbox is full, thanks!
Thanks for letting me know about those seat belt mounts on my 62 lancer. I have a nother question. I assume those are welded on underneath and there is a black rubber knob through that floor bolt. Do I just pull that out? I'll probably have to tear it up to get it out, but I figured they just put it in there to plug the hole. I can send you a pick if needed.

Tim I have never seen that black rubber knob. Should just come back out. Give me shout if you have any other questions.
hello. Owner had sent me photo of fender tag, unusual car as it has factory tach but not the Commando 273. Also having vinyl roof, which I had at one time seen production numbers of less than 300 in 65. can you answer a few questions? how are the floors? What did the trunk and rear end look like? is the stripe original or dealer add on? Are those cragars 13 or 14"? looked to me like interior was redone thank you!

Hey Robert What do you need? Stan
Good morning. I was doing some searching for 67 Dart fender turn signals and came across a post that you had a set back in 2018. Was just wondering if yout still had them and, if so, how much shipped to 37918? Thanks in advance.
Satannnnly, lost my original FABO log info but am back on as 68Slant6Dart. Just beginning the clean-out but will give you anything you would like in the stash. More to follow and thanks for the call yesterday!
I was wondering how did you make samson the 65 dart

Hello! It was a resin body and a Revell Miss Deal Stude. Freemont Racing Resin? I used a Testors red spray bomb and the vinyl roof was masking tape then painted black. Chrome Metal Foil for the trim. It's a 66 Dart. I hope you liked it. Stan
Had not looked at my mail box. I emptied it. I live in Grand Prairie and heading to my buddies shop today in Haslet to rebuild the front end of my 65 Dart. Give me a call sometime to check out the rides. 317-694-7159 Brian
Thanks for the input. I did some research and found out just that. It was optional at the factory depending on what you ordered.
Stan, you won't believe it. A guy I grew up with (a Chevy head) stopped by the neighbor's in his Camero months ago and said he would keep an eye out for a dart since I was looking. I was going down the road last week and saw a sweet 69 in front of his dad's house, turned around and sure enough...he's the proud owner of this clean 340 car he bought from an "older guy". I felt like saying "thanks" but let it go and said it was good to see he finally had a quality car!

I'll keep looking here but keep your eyes out in TX. On our visit thru the area in the fall, I can always drive a 68 or 69 home from there.

In the overall scheme of things finding your new home is is a priority. I trust God will open the right door for you and Debby as He unveils the latest for you guys. Let me know when we need to come and help unload the POD and trailer.

Take care my friend and keep in touch!!
