If you weld something properly it will be pretty by default.
Mine was 48.5 with the yoke pulled 3/4” out from bottomed in the tranny.Is it possible this has E body springs on it, think they are longer?
Yep, look at the difference between his front bracket and the one from Cass which I have on the Dart.Mopar A-Body 1/2" Spring Relocation Kit...
Longer than mine on the Dart. You could either redrill those or drill the stock ones for the bigger bolt.
The heat from welding the new spring pads may have pulled the tubes down some?
