What, like Walmart pic’s:lol:I really enjoy seeing what you are doing and makes me think of what is possible.
Looking good John, enjoy being able to see your work and the thoughts behind it!
It’s a shame to have to do that to a new pan. Probably still had “New Pan” smell!
Kinda funny how small the float bowls look on that thing!
Another vote for IMM, Brian is great to deal with!
Ok, that's good. I did the ring gear method as it was easy to measure before I put the tranny in. With all the issues I had I was looking for ways...
When your TC is fully seated in the transmission, what is the distance from the ring gear to the front of the case, should be 1 1/4"? When I had...
I believe so, think you can run the smaller bearing on a later block, just don't have as much bearing.
Could be from the old TC. Are there any marks from the snout possibly bottoming in the crank?
What does the end of the crank and TC snout look like?I had something similar happen and the TC snout was binding in the crank.
Sounds like you have our CA gas there.
Yep, it made sense in my nugget for turns and such. With dividing ports I had thought of it more like a boat cutting through water, figures 20...
Good example, never thought to tie a wing profile to that, but it makes sense. I’ve seen ported heads in the past, but have never seen a ported...
Very nice, however a pain in the butt to do!So looking down through the carb flange it seems all the dividers to the ports are rounded. I know...
I just have visions of that burr and handle shakin like a dog pissing peach pits:D
Maybe I’m missing something, but doesn’t that cause the burr to “slap” around? Seems like that would be impossible to control?
Geez, almost seems like you need a 90* drill adapter to get the burr in some of those spots! Quite a bit different than a single plane and a heck...
Do you worry about the air coming from the intake “stalling” when it gets to the gasket and heads since the port appears to open so quickly right...
Very nice build Ramm, sounds quite healthy!
Nope, and it will hit first to warn you!
You can see in this pic.[ATTACH]
Six cylinder, 250cc. Heard one run at Laguna Seca, basically no flywheel!
Thanks John!
Sorry for the stupid question, but how do you get the mold out of the head? The bowl side looks to big to come back through the port side?I’m...
Condoms. [MEDIA]
Man, I haven’t heard that name in ages! Very Cool!
Reel to reel in the background, sweet! What make?
Mike, thank you for this! Saved me from asking a lot of dumb questions:lol:
Ok, was just curious.
What do you set your thrust bearing clearance at?
